We are community activists, small business owners & managers and committed
citizens.
Our society does not limit itself to destroying Life by pillaging our
resources, slaughtering the environment and treating animals with contempt,
it also saps our sensitivities and our discernment. The treatment meted
out to people with disabilities is symptomatic of the general state of mind.
Terrorism is worrying. But more fundamental is the attack on our health
by our way of life, pollution and chemicals. More insidious: the regression
of human relations.
The nation's books are faltering, poverty is moving in and we're submerged
by taxes. Extremism and selfishness are taking root.
The influence of multinationals is based on the goodwill of certain politicians
and our choices as consumers. We can change all that. Without revolution.
Everything is ready for the building of harmony
Going beyond the Right/Left cleavage is one step, putting forward a complete,
innovative and realistic plan for society is vital
The end result of politics is not economic growth, but sustainable well
being. We can make this possible by sound management of public funds, new
democratic rules, organic agriculture, education focused on well-being,
a respectful economy, active ecology and preventative health.
As of today, we do not have enough resources
